Where can i buy "espresso coffee" for our new cappuccino maker?

We love cappuccino and received a cappuccino maker for Christmas. The directions call for "espresso coffee." Is this different than other coffees? We have not been able to find any "espresso coffee" in any store so far. All we can find is cappuccino but it is a mix that you put in hot water. Please help so we can start enjoying this gift. Thanks in advance.

any coffee shop. you can go to starbucks and get it if you want. some grocery stores sell whole bean coffee too. other than that you can try searching online for local roasters or companies that will ship whole bean coffee.

really though you can use any type of bean that you like, though. it doesn’t necessarily have to be espresso roast, though that is the most common type to use in an espresso machine. you can use whatever you prefer.

    You need a grinder.
Purchase a grinder and also purchase freshly roasted coffee beans. Some grinders will have different settings for varying coffee makers. Usually people use a regular drip coffee but since you will be making espresso-make sure you find a coffee grinder that has an espresso setting or simply an espresso grinder. (I believe the espresso grind is the most fine.)
